Track queen Allyson Felix interview

Sports Liberated meets the six-time Olympic champ and asks about memories of her first world championship title aged 19, over a decade ago.

The American’s first World Championships was in 2005 in Helsinki, Finland, where she won gold in the 200m, aged 19.

Since then she’s won a further eight world championship golds and six Olympic titles in the 200m, 1x100m and 4x400m relay.

I ask Allyson about her memories of her first World Championships in Helsinki in 2005 when she won 200m gold.

We also discuss her work with then-President Barack Obama and finally ask for her favourite motivational quote.
