HaveAGoJo: I try ice hockey – turns out being able to skate helps

“I’m sorry, we don’t have a kit to fit you.”
“That’s fine,” said I, “I’ll take the biggest kit you’ve got.”
If I was going to tackle ice hockey when I could barely even skate, I wanted as much padding as possible.

“The biggest kit you’ve got, please,” I request of GB ice hockey international Ben O’Connor. His concern that his team, the Morzine Avoriaz Penguins, wouldn’t have any kit to fit me was unwarranted. If I was going to tackle ice hockey, I wanted as much padding as possible.
