The cave is 280 m (900ft) deep and is the third longest cave in Slovenia. The iconic twin skylight portals allow cave explorers access into the cave where the Reka River can be seen again flowing steadily underground towards the coast. Ever since I first saw a picture of these majestic twin portals filtering sunlight into the cave, I dreamed of one day visiting it with my camera. Finally, a few months ago, my dream came true.
