Don’t you just love it when a plan comes together?
It did for American surfer Carissa Moore who won the surfing world title for the third time over the weekend.
You’d think that would be enough, wouldn’t you? Winning a third world title?
How about winning the title in the last surf of the season?
Not enough for you, Carissa? Winning on your home shores with family, friends and the local Hawaiian community of Honolua Bay, Maui supporting you all the way?
Still not enough?
Ah, the cherry on the icing on top of the cake as you so well put it Carissa – winning the world championships by coming out of a 10-point barrel in the final, “the best barrel I’ve ever had in competition”.
Yup, the three-time world champ is presumably ‘stoked’ with that.
(And if you’re not sure what a 10-point barrel is, have a snifter at this.)
